¿ Por qué una revista dedicada a la belleza escogería como portada a una “mujer inestable” que se rapó la cabeza y fué a rehabilitación? Eso pensaron la mayoría al enterarse de que la revista Allure escogería a Britney como portada de su revista en Septiembre. Su editora Linda Wells dio una breve explicación, y segun dijo, todo se debe a que esperaban dar la imagen de su “regreso” al mundo de la música, como ya hicieron otras artistas anteriormente de la talla de Mariah Carey. Pero en lugar de cooperar -Allure afirma, pero desde osdia dudamos que sea cierto - que Britney en su lugar hizo las fotografías y se tomó la libertad de no ajustarse a los horarios establecidos para la entrevista y de no querer hacerla posteriormente…

Está claro que todas las revistas buscan la manera de vender más haciendo menos, dudamos mucho que esta información sea cierta, pero tiempo al tiempo, al igual que pasó con OK! Magazine, la verdad salió a la luz, aunque muy pocos nos interesamos por ella… estaos al tanto para más info.

Why would a magazine about beauty put on its cover an unstable woman who shaved her own head, went to rehab and is a regular on celebrity weeklies’ worst dressed lists? Editor in chief Linda Wells explained in her editor’s letter: “I thought we could present the profile as her comeback. Perhaps Britney’s story would be redemptive, like those of Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore and Mariah Carey before her.” Instead, Britney took the photos and bailed she missed four scheduled interviews with writer Judith Newman, and the accompanying comeback story went untold. Newman instead penned a story about the state of celebrities in 2007, and Allure crafted the cover line “Britney Spears: Tells Us Nothing and Everything.”
