Neil Patrick Harris se llevo una grata sorpresa de Britney Spears en la mesa de lectura para un episodio de How I Meet Your Mother el martes.

“Ella tiene un gran sentido del humor, y interesantes opciones” el le dice a PEOPLE. “No fue como si solamente le hubiesen dicho ves alli y di estas lineas. Me sorprendi bastante con eso. Ella es muy graciosa!”

Harris que estara en el set el jueves para rodar con la estrella del pop añade, “ella parecia pasarselo muy bien… Ningun acento extraño. Ella parecia comoda”.

Harris le dice a PEOPLE que cuando el equipo de la estrella del pop se acerco a los productores para hacer la intervencion, “todo el mundo se asombro”. “No pensamos que ella quisiera actuar”. Pero el equipo le dio la bienvenida y la oportunidad. “Quiero permitirle que nos muestre una cara diferente de ella misma. Estamos orgullosos de su deseo de cambiar de imagen”.

Neil Patrick Harris was pleasantly surprised by Britney Spears at the table reading for an episode of How I Met Your Mother on Tuesday.

“She has a good sense of comedy, and has interesting choices,” he tells PEOPLE. “It wasn’t like she has just been told to stand up there and deliver those lines. I was really surprised by that. She’s really funny!”

Harris, who will be on set Thursday filming with the pop star, added, “She seems to be doing very well … No strange accents. She seemed comfortable.”

Harris tells PEOPLE that when the pop star’s team approached the show producers for the part, “everyone was flabbergasted. We didn’t think she wanted to act.” But, the cast welcomed the opportunity. “I want to allow her to show a different side of herself. We’re proud of her desire to change her image.”
