Según una persona que trabaja para Sony BMG Canada, el próximo 9 de diciembre del 2008 seria la fecha tentativa para el lanzamiento del sexto álbum de estudio de la princesa del pop.

Jive Records, la disquera de Britney, habría acordado junto a ella cerrar la etapa “Blackout” debido a toda la negatividad relacionada a este disco. Esto no tiene que ver necesariamente con la música propiamente dicha, sino con todo el drama que la vida personal de Britney abarco durante este periodo.

Britney y su equipo tendrían una mejor idea, empezar con un nuevo y fresco álbum asi como una imagen renovada.

Los representantes de Jive estaría extremadamente felices con la calidad del nuevo material que ya ha grabado con productores como Bloodshy, Danja, J.R. Rotem y Polow.

En este momento, ella está trabajando en el estudio de grabación con el productor Guy Sigsworth, responsable de su éxito “Everytime” y tiene programado reunirse con The Runawayz a finales de junio.

Ademas, Britney estaría en conversación con las cadenas mas importates de la televisión, quienes están desesperados por llegar a tener una entrevista con ella.

Ahora mismo Britney solo quiere concentrarse en ganar al menos el 50% de la custodia de sus hijos, terminar este nuevo disco, ponerse en forma y pulir esas coreografias que lleva practicando.

He gave me the same information and a little extra information. He is the Events/Promotions Manager. He got this information as a heads up of a big release in an email sent from Sony/BMG headquarters.

December 9th, 2008 is the tentative release date on Sony/BMG’s release schedule for the 4th quarter.

Here’s the other information I was told:

Jive and Britney’s team are closing down “Blackout” because of all the negatives that are associated with this album, not necessarily the music itself, but the drama from Britney’s personal life that will always be attached and associated with the “Blackout” album. It may be a great album but the image attached to it will keep it back from ever progressing further. Britney and her team mutually agreed to start off fresh with a new album and a brand new cleaned up image. Jive Reps are extremely happy with the quality with the new material she’s recorded with Bloodshy, Danja, JR and Polow. She’s currently working in the studio with Guy Sigsworth and then scheduled with The Runawayz late June.

Britney’s in early talks with the major TV networks who are so desperate to lock Britney into a contractual agreement for the first sit down television interview 1 hour special. Early indications are the networks are throwing around some ridiculous figures that they would be willing to pay for this interview. Jive, Britney and her team will listen to offers but will not accept anything this early. I guess they’re testing the waters early to make this an intense bidding war and jack up the price. Right now Britney just wants to concentrate on gaining back 50-50 custody of her two sons, finishing the new album off, getting back into shape and polishing off her dance routines.

Britney’s also been working out everyday and on a diet as she is determined to get her body back in top shape. She is still very embarrassed about her MTV Video Music Award performance, with the actual performance and her physical appearance at the show. She’s been looking her best in recent years judging by photos taken of her recently so the workouts and dieting are having an effect.”
