GRANNY SPEARS BACK IN L.A.

A strangely tanned Lynne Spears arrived at LAX airport in Los Angeles today after being with youngest daughter Jamie Lynn during her pregnancy and birth.

The leather-skinned granny was snapped getting some help loading her luggage from her friend’s son as they picked her up curbside.

Meanwhile, Lynne laments about the joys grandmotherhood in the upcoming issue of Ok! magazine: “You never remember how little they are, and then you hold them. I purred like a kitten, and I remember saying, `Jamie Lynn, she’s so beautiful.’”

As for whether she is a hands-on grandma? “Mama has been here a bunch,” says new mom Jamie Lynn. “She wants to see the baby all the time. She told me the doctors are always going to be real strict and tell you, `Don’t do this and don’t do that.’ Just follow your instincts. You’re the mother and you know what your baby needs. That’s what I’ve done and it seems to have worked.”
