El abuelo materno de Britney era de Malta. Se mudó a Inglaterra en 1920 y se casó con una chica Inglesa. Ellos tuvieron dos hijas: Joan y Lillian, la madre de Lynne, crecieron en Londres y durante la guerra conocieron a un hombre llamado Barnett quien estaba sirviendo para las tropas de USA.
Ellos se mudaron a Lousiana. El jardín de Serenity fue diseñado exactamente como el de la casa del tío de Lynne en Inglaterra. Sandra y Lynne se volvieron muy buenas amigas cuando ellas estaban creciendo hasta el punto de que Sandra solía llevar a Lynne de 8 años, a citas con ella. Hablando sobre Jamie.

Un día antes del primer cumpleaños de Bryan, Lyne y otros miembros de la familia (a excepción de Jamie) fueron a la casa de los padres de Lynne. Esto fue durante el período en el que Jamie bebía mucho. El tío de Lynne recibió una llamada informando que su hermano, el padre de Lynne, había chocado y muerto atropellado por un tractor. Jamie desapareció durante una semana. Después de un tiempo, Jamie se enganchó muchísimo al alcohol, él le decía que ella era muy estúpida. La madre de Lynne y su hermano quería que ella le dejara. Cuando Bryan cumplió 4 años, Lynne finalmente pidió el divorcio pero su padre le pidió que se lo pensara y recapacitara. Así hizo ella y tuvieron los que ella llama los “años dorados” cuando todo parecía que iba bien.

Cuando Bryan cumplió los 9 años, Lynne y Britney estaban en la guardería, Lynne corrió cuando recibió una llamada de Sandra avisándole de que Bryan le había llamado desde el colegio y diciéndole que se encontraba muy enfermo. Lynne llegó allí y lo encontró tumbado, su cuerpo completamente frío como el de un cadáver y no respondía. Fue en un vuelo hacía Nueva Orleans y ni Jamie ni Lynne pudieron volar con él en helicóptero. Ellos fueron en coche hasta el hospital y se encontraron con que el cuerpo se encontraba en coma. Años más tarde, él sufrió varios accidentes como quemaduras por culpa de una moto.
Ella habla muchísimo de sus mejores amigas, y menciona que ella conoció a Jackie el primer día de rodaje de Zoey 101. Jackie es la madre del pequeño niño que interpreta al hermano joven de Zoey en la serie. Cuando Britney fue joven e hizo sus clases de gimnasia, ella tenía que ver a Lynne a través de una ventana en el hall. Cuando Lynne, Britney y JL estuvieron en Florida grabando para el MMC, Jamie llamó a Lynne para decirle que algo había pasado. La madre de Lynne, que fue diagnosticada a los 28 años de artritis, había sido encontrada boca abajo en la piscina de su hijo y se había ahogado mientras nadaba. Lynne no pudo afrontarlo, pero Lynn Harless, madre de Justin Timberlake, pagó todo el funeral.

Lynne no aprobó que Britney y Justin se mudaran a una casa a la edad de 19 años.

En el capítulo sobre su muerte, ella nos explica que Sandra sabía que las próximas navidades serían sus últimas y empezó a hacer preparaciones para ayudar a esos a los que dejaba. Los regalos de aquel año fueron perfectos. Por ejemplo, dio a Bryan una foto de ellos, en la playa, enmarcada- De tpdas formas, Bryan piensa que es realmente fotogénico y Sandra encontró una foto que ella sabía que le gustaba, la retocó digitalmente de manera que ella apareciera también y a él le gustó. Desde ese día Bryan tiene la foto en su apartamento.

En Abril del 2008, Lynne estaba volando de vuelta a Louisiana desde LA en un vuelo Delta con una persona sentada a su izquierda y un asiento vacío a su derecha. Justo antes de que el avión despegase, el chico de detras de ella se levanta del asiento y parece que comienza a sacar algo del compartimento para equipaje de mano pero otro chico va y se lo impide. El chico comienza a preguntar todo tipo de preguntas acerca de dónde es, si tiene hijos, qué esta leyendo etc etc. Empezó a fastidiarla durante todo el vuelo y optros del avion comenzaron a decir al aterrizar el avio lo poco educado que era. Unos días mas tarde, el publicista de Jamie Lynn llamó a Lynne para una entrevista exclusiva para Life&Style. (www.osdia.es) Ocurrió que la revista habia puesto a un reportero en el avion, el cualo fabricó totalmente la historia acerca de lo que sentía Lynne resppecto al embarazo de Jamie Lyyn.

De Bryan dice que le gustaría que él encontrase una mujer que no le fuerce a ir por un determinado camino y que le ayude a enfrontar la vida. Él, previamente, ya había roto un compromiso y ahora está trabajando en la industria del cine en Los Angeles habiendo comenzado su carrera en Nueva York.

Talking about Jamie:

- Their first date was to an Elton John concert. - Jamie had been married before and Lynne’s parents didn’t hugely approve of the relationship, so they eloped. - Bryan nearly died the day he was born from a bacterial infection in his lungs, and fought for his life for a week. - When Lynne was 21 years old and 8 months pregnant with Bryan, her brother Sonny was badly injured by a piece of farming equipment and she needed to drive him to hospital. In doing so, there was a car coming the other way, she swerved to avoid it and hit a young boy on a bicycle. She was in the hospital waiting room when she heard the mothers reaction to being told her son was dead:

She was apparently sad and restless, but says she, like nobody else had a clue how much she was really suffering. - She talks a LOT about her sister Sandra. In the chapter about her dying, she tells us that Sandra knew that the upcoming Christmas would be her last and started making preparations to help those left behind get by without her there. The presents that year were meaningful and perfect. For example, she gave Bryan a framed photograph of them together on a beach. However it wasn’t that simple….Bryan thinks he’s really un-photogenic and so Sandra found a picture of him she knew he liked, got it digitally altered so that she was also in the photo and put a beach background behind them. The guy starts asking her all sorts of questions about where she’s from, if she has kids, what shes reading etc etc. He hassles her the entire way and others on the flight make comment about his rudeness once the plane lands. A few days later, Jamie Lynns publicist phones Lynne and asks if she gave an exclusive interview to Life & Style magazine. It transpires that the magazine planted a reporter on the plane who then completely fabricated a story about Lynne’s feelings towards JL’s pregnancy.
