“¡Dios, sí! ¡Estábamos muy emocionados!” dijo Kevin. “Es un honor y un privilegio conocer a Britney Spears. Estaba expectacular.”

Jonas añadió: “No queríamos que fuera algo tipo ‘Hola Britney Spears, encantados de conocerte’ y sacarnos una foto con ella, por eso dije ‘Siempre nos ha encantado tu musica’ y le dije que fue el 1º CD que compré en mi vida.”

“Entonces ella estaba en plan ‘Wow, gracias!’ ” dijo Joe. “Y, después, nos preguntó qué tal les iba a Big Rob y a Felicia.”

Even the Jonas Brothers get star struck every now and then.

At last weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards, they met Britney Spears for the first time.

“Hell yes - we were so excited!” Kevin Jonas told Usmagazine.com at Sunday’s City of Hope benefit concert in Universal City, Calif. “It is an honor and privilege to meet Britney Spears, of course. She looked great.”

Added Joe Jonas, “We didn’t want to become a ‘Hi, Britney Spears, nice to meet you’ and take a picture [type-of-thing].

“I said, ‘We have always loved your music,’ and I told her she was the first CD I have ever bought,” he went on.

“She was like, ‘Wow! Thank you,’” Joe told Us. “She asked us how Big Rob [her famous old bodyguard] and Felicia [Culotta, Spears’ former longtime personal assistant] were doing.”
