Whisky Gone A Rye #2 is the sixteenth release in our Trials & Exceptions series and is a special edition of our Rye Malt Whisky matured in Australian apera casks. The result of a happy accident, the 100 and 200-litre Australian apera casks that we used to age this spirit were destined for maturing our Single Malt Whisky, but were instead filled with Rye Malt Whisky not once but three times. Whisky Gone A Rye #2 displays enticing notes of honey-poached peaches, candied figs, vanilla crème brulée, sweet baking spices and lingering oak. – Archie Rose
